Herbert R. Cayzer
Bertie is responsible for external manager research across both traditional and alternative investment strategies. Before joining North American Management, Bertie developed a curiosity for investment management while working at a private equity firm in Geneva, Switzerland. He has also done charity work in Kenya, trekked through North Africa and served as a one time fishing guide in Scotland. Bertie earned a BA in International Relations from Boston University, with a focus on Foreign Policy and Security Studies. When not in the office, you may find him trying to make time to play tennis, squash, chess, and backgammon or masochistically appreciating his golf handicap. Among other things, Bertie is a dog owner and log home enthusiast.
