Lea Ann Knight Represents the CFP Board at Forté College Career Event
Lea Ann Knight, CFP®, North American Management’s Director of Wealth Management and Principal of the Firm, was CFP Board’s Women’s Initiative (WIN) volunteer at Forté Foundation’s Fast Track to Finance Conference held in Boston on November 3, 2017.
The conference showcased women financial leaders and recent college grads from top firms who shared their experiences on launching a financial career, building client relationships, and why they love their career choice. Participants were given the opportunity to explore career tracks in stock analysis, portfolio management, and working with private clients.
A large part of Lea Ann’s planning practice is focused on empowering women to manage their financial affairs with greater confidence. She has been a financial columnist for Time Inc.’s All You magazine, and has been frequently quoted in the Wall Street Journal, SmartMoney, and Kiplinger’s, among other financial media outlets. A member of the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA), Lea Ann is a graduate of Stanford University and currently serves as Co-President of the Stanford Women’s Alumni Network of New England.
