Most facets of your life depend on how well your affairs are handled.
Your investments should support your unique, lifelong goals — your own True North. As your trusted adviser, we walk alongside to help you pursue them.
The process we follow together begins with a conversation. We help you articulate and define your goals: how you intend to enjoy your success, guide your family’s future, or realize your life’s philanthropic purpose.
We offer advice on all aspects of your financial life -cash and debt management, asset protection, estate and tax planning, to name just a few. To support this advice we use a sophisticated, institutional-quality portfolio construction process; one that is forward-looking and focused on preserving and growing your wealth, especially in challenging environments.
We take your family’s financial well-being as a personal responsibility, one we have assumed and discharged on behalf of wealthy families for nearly 90 years.
Asset Management Fees
Keeping fees low helps our clients reach their goals faster. Our asset-based fees are transparent, simple to understand, and easy to administer. Our clients appreciate knowing up front what they pay for the wealth advisory, investment management, and fiduciary services they receive.
North American Management offers comprehensive wealth management services to individuals and families. To provide the highest level of care and attention to these clients, we typically design, maintain, and monitor detailed financial plans that we create at the outset of each new relationship.
Asset Management Fees
|Asset-based Fee (per annum)||Market Value|
|1.25%||First $1 million|
|1.00%||Next $2 million|
|0.80%||Next $2 million|
|0.60%||Next $5 million|
|0.60%||Over $10 million|
Fees are payable in advance on a calendar quarter basis, based on the market value of account assets as of the last day of the previous quarter. North American Management reserves the right to negotiate wealth management fee arrangements with prospective and existing clients. All fees for clients with managed assets over $10 million are typically negotiated. When we invest in mutual funds, exchange traded funds and other outside investment managers, these assets are included in determining the value of the account for the purpose of calculating our management fees. These same assets are subject to additional advisory and other fees and expenses, thus clients pay fees to both North American Management and the fund/outside manager.
