Hans Estin is Vice Chairman Emeritus of North American Management. He has spent his career in wealth management starting with a family office that later became part of North American Management. For many years, Hans served as a Trustee of the Putnam Group of Mutual Funds and as a Director of The Boston Safe Deposit and Trust Co.
Hans’ philanthropic efforts include serving as a member of the Corporation of the Schepens Eye Research Institute and a Trustee of the New England Aquarium. He was a member of the Board of Overseers of the Boys' and Girls' Clubs of Boston, and he was formerly chairman of the Board of Trustees of Boston University. For many years, he served as Honorary Consul of Belgium in Boston. Hans has an AB from Harvard College and served in the US Air Force as a pilot during the Korean War.
